Over 45 years ago, young Al Di Meola released his second, extremely successful studio album “Elegant Gypsy”. With “Elegant Gypsy & More LIVE”, partly recorded on his very successful “Elegant Gypsy – 40th Anniversary”-US Tour in 2017, he is revisiting some of the album’s brilliant, earlier works such as “Race With Devil On Spanish Highway”, “Flight Over Rio” or “Midnight Tango”.

This live album perfectly captures the passion and vibes the guitar genius is most known for. It’s a virtuoso blend of world music, rock and jazz. After its original release in 2018, “Elegant Gypsy & More LIVE” will now become available for the very first time on vinyl.

Al Di Meola achieved worldwide fame for both, being a solo artist and for his collaborations with Chick Corea, Paco De Lucia, John McLaughlin, Jean Luc Ponty, Stanley Clark, Luciano Pavarotti, Paul Simon, Phil Collins, Santana, Steve Winwood, Herbie Hancock, Frank Zappa, Jimmy Page, Stevie Wonder and many more.
