The third studio album from British death metal legends from 1993. The British death metal gods Cancer entered the British extreme metal scene over three decades ago and have gained a strong worldwide fan base over the course of six studio albums, including the major label EastWest under Warner Music. Released in 2018, Shadow Gripped brought the core band back together with John Walker (guitar/vocals), Ian Buchanan (bass) and Carl Stokes (drums) for the first time since 1995 to present a new masterclass of twisted brutality. With Sins of Mankind, Cancer evolved beyond the boundaries of the first two albums, presenting a slightly more ambitious, sophisticated and dynamic work, clearly retaining the brutal hallmarks and signature style so effectively used on To the Gory End and Death Shall Rise. It is obvious that songwriting has become more mature and structured. The result is a new masterpiece that can compete with its predecessors while opening a new chapter for the band.
