“THE 2007 ALBUM OF DIRTY EVIL ROCK FROM NORWAY’S LONGSTANDING BLACK METAL LEGENDS.

In 2007, the legendary Norwegian duo of Fenriz & Nocturno Culto introduced their new slab of evil rock – hot on the hells of 2006’s classic ‘The Cult Is Alive’ release – with the defiantly titled ‘F.O.A.D.’ (‘Fuck Off & Die’); a further stand against the polished & plastic sounds of the times.

Mixed & self-produced at the band’s own Necrohell 2 studios throughout the first half of 2007, this labour of love (or hate) travelled deep into the open seas of a rich musical heritage; a celebration of rock & metal; moving further from the pure primitive black metal they were once known for, but still embracing the roots of what made this tree grow so far & wide.

Artwork on ‘F.O.A.D.’ appeared courtesy of Dennis Dread (who would also go on to create the similarly-styled covers for ‘Dark Thrones & Black Flags’ & ‘Circle the Wagons’.
