Guitarist, producer, and songwriting partner James “Straight” Williamson contributes some of the most memorable rock riffs ever recorded, including the iconic one on the title track, “Kill City.” The album was originally released with a muddy mix, but this remixed and remastered version, overseen by both Iggy and James, finally restores its brilliance. Today, “Kill City” stands as one of the greatest proto-punk records ever made.”
