MASK cleverly mix extemporisation with structured songs and fuse elements of ambient, electronic and classic music. Critics have hailed their music as ‘mellow and addictive sounds, perfect for the modern world’. The romantic moods they devise certainly provide a welcome dose of tranquillity in an age of noise and violence.
‘Technopia’ is MASK’s second album and is the follow up to the well received ‘Heavy Petal’. The duo describes its collection of songs and instrumentals as ‘darkly fatalistic reflections on romance and existentialism’.
