Metaman – Vs Dr Rave – Vinyl LP

From bars to clubs -still- two more years after the initial four years of IRINA (2020), METAMAN leaves behind the futility of MATAIOSI (2022) and its farewells, embraces a more extroverted sound and touches upon major keys in his synthesizers.

From parties to gigs -still- with the same friends, allies, and enemies, battling against Dr. Rave, who smiles at him every morning in the mirror, he twists the potentiometers, raises and lowers the faders, and constantly searches for the right oscillator to finally shut him up.

From festivals to studios – forever – with artificial sounds, with the head still bowed, but gazing ahead. On his walk, from Metaxourgeio Square to Asklipiou and from Koritsas to Navarinou, he is accompanied by the voices of Sci Fi River, Monkey King, Stelios Lalousi, Sandra and Semeli Kamtsiki. Instead of shamrocks, lemon trees and periwinkles, they decorate the city’s sidewalks with a rough, straight and raw poetry. They go over the lyrics just before the recording and choose which to take with them in the final fight with the evil Doctor, but leave out the lines that tell the whole truth, because no one ever needed to know the whole truth in this town.

Who will win in this unequal battle? Will the city be saved by METAMAN and his gang or will it be swallowed by Dr. Rave’s darkness? The sequel in the third METAMAN album, “Vs Dr. RAVE”.
