Following the disintegration of his band The Machine Gun Go., British jazz oddball Mike Cooper decamped to Spain and recorded a final studio album, 1974’s ‘Life And Death In Paradise’, before dabbling quietly in improvised electronic music for several decades. That album is repackaged by Paradise Of Bachelors alongside Cooper’s stunning 2018 live comeback album, ‘Milan Live Acoustic 2018’. For fans of the experimental end of Lou Reed or Tim Buckley’s work.
