P!NK – The Truth About Love – Vinyl LP

Finally: after four years of fun in the funhouse of life, Superstar P!NK now tells us the truth about love. The Truth About Love is the title of the sixth studio album of the US singer, which will be released on September 14 and includes the pre-single Blow Me (One Last Kiss), which shot at number one on the airplay charts in record time. The song was created in collaboration with Grammy Award winner Greg Kurstin, who wrote and produced songs for Lily Allen, Kelly Clarkson, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck and the Flaming Lips with great success in recent years. In addition to Kurstin, P!NK also works with her longtime songwriting and production partners Max Martin and Shellback, Billy Mann and Butch Walker on the pieces for the new album. The name Dan Wilson, from whose feather the Adele hit Someone Like You comes from, can also be found in the credits. In content, the Grammy award winner on The Truth About Love illuminates the different aspects of love: the dark, the bright, the cheerful, and the sad sides.

The Truth About Love is the follow-up to the long player Funhouse, which was released in 2008 and has more than a million (!) sold times. In late 2010, P!NK released with Greatest Hits… So Far her first best-of album that produced two more hits with Raise Your Glass and Fuckin´ Perfect, with which she could expand her airplay record series in Germany to eight number one hits at a time.

In her career, P!NK released five studio albums since their debut in 2000, selling more than thirty million copies worldwide: Can t Take Me Home (2000), M!ssundaztood (2001), Try This (2003), I m Not Dead (2006), and Funhouse (2008). In addition, 65 million single sold (nearly 20 million downloads) and over a million DVDs sold. Eleven of their singles reached the top ten on the US Billboard charts, fifteen hits reached the top in one or more countries. She has been awarded three Grammys, two Billboard Music Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards and two MTV Europe Awards.
