Taylor Swift – The Tortured Poets Department – CD

Eleventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, released April 2024. Swift announced the album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4, 2024, after winning Best Pop Vocal Album for her tenth studio album, ‘Midnights’ (2022).

After her album “Midnights”, which was released in 2022, Taylor Swift is now releasing her 11th studio album with “The Tortured Poets Department”. Last year she shared the new recordings (Taylor’s Version) of her albums “Speak Now” and “1989” with her fans.

The 14-time Grammy winner announced her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, while accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album at the Grammy Awards.

She describes the album “The Tortured Poets Department” as her “lifeline” that reminded her why songwriting is so important to her. Swift has been working on the album for over two years, showcasing her unique songwriting and storytelling skills. She said of the album herself during her show in Melbourne: “I’ve never had an album where I needed songwriting more than I needed it on ‘Tortured Poets.”

The album consists of 16 tracks + bonus track “The Manuscript” and is available on CD and Ivory double vinyl.
