Theon Cross – Intra-I – Vinyl LP

Theon Cross is a London-based tuba player and composer with a unique sound that makes him an an increasingly sought-after collaborator – he has recently collaborated with Kano Stormzy Joy Crookes joy Crookes, to name a few. His new album, Intra-I (meaning ‘Within Self’) combines the diversity of his musical artistry and experience to deliver an essential message to a world plagued by gloom to a world plagued by gloom. In ten sonically diverse and bass-heavy tracks, Intra-I explores themes of Self-confidence, identity and more. The album is an exploratory and uplifting celebration of the Afro-diaspora music and contains songs that deal with self-development, the importance of history and Heritage, and the strength in the face of adversity that the first generations of post-war Caribbean immigrants in Britain have shown.
