Thomas Anders – Sings Modern Talking: Magic The Long Versions – CD

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Modern Talking’s first album, singer Thomas Anders surprised the fans of the Eurodisco with a very special project. The singer reinterpreted the first six Modern Talking studio albums and re-sung. The most successful duo in the German pop history has been on their separate paths since 2003, but the songs Modern Talking, which are still dancing all over the world, remain immortal.

New recordings of the first six Modern Talking albums pay homage to the uniquely successful duo and the days of the mid-80s that seem glorious, colorful and carefree. The songs, once inspired by the pulsating Eurodisco sound, are instantly recognizable, but thanks to the more modern drums and synthesizers, they got a more modern sound.

The 6 album package is released for the first time in Dolby Atmos, or 3D. Thomas Anders surprises his fans with two previously unreleased songs on all albums. Under Christian Geller’s leadership, all the songs were recaptured with experienced studio musicians, and Anders was accompanied by the same background singers who could be heard on the original recordings, so that the original production tracks were re-created as faithfully as possible during the recordings.

The six albums – The 1st Album, Let’s Talk About Love, Ready For Romance, In The Middle Of Nowhere, Romantic Warriors, and In The Garden Of Venus will be released at regular time from March 2025 to Stars by Edel.

At the end of the series, a special long version of 18 songs appears in a limited 4 CD box.
