We are proud to present Desideria from Lärbro parish, Gotland!
Desideria is a strange bird to say the least. As Debussy once described Grieg “like a pink caramel filled with frost”. Sickly frosty and fragile but at the same time warming and extremely strong. Very experimental electronica with vocals in Guta (Gotland’s native language)… thoughts perhaps go to Björk although this is so much more (if possible) idiosyncratic. Another reference could be the very strange album Illuminations with Buffy Sainte-Marie. Can’t really be compared to anything so we don’t give a damn. Like an electronic drizzle, like a worrying lullaby, like frosty heat…
