To mark the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Gentle Giant are reissuing their first four albums on vinyl in 2020: “Gentle Giant” (1970), “Acquiring The Taste” (1971), “Three Friends” (1972) and “Octopus” (1972).

“Octopus” is the fourth album by the British progressive rock icons. Originally released on December 1, 1972, it was the last album with founding member Phil Shulman and the first with drummer John Weathers, who remained part of the band until its dissolution in 1980.

“Octopus” is still considered a milestone in progressive rock today.
