To mark the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Gentle Giant are reissuing their first four albums on vinyl in 2020: “Gentle Giant” (1970), “Acquiring The Taste” (1971), “Three Friends” (1972) and “Octopus” (1972).

“Three Friends” is the third album by the British progressive rock icons. Originally released on April 14, 1972, the concept album is about three friends whose lives develop in completely different ways. It is the only album with drummer Malcolm Mortimore as Martin Smith’s successor.
