Robbie Williams releases an energetic album conceived as a tribute to the British music scene of the 90s – that era in which he began his solo career after his exit at Take That in 1995. The album contains the already released song Rocket, where rock legend Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) collaborates with a distinctive guitar solo and delivers a taste of the powerful sound of the entire album.
The cover of BRITPOP features a painting of Robbie’s iconic 1995 Glastonbury outfit – a red tracksuit – and highlights the nostalgic reference to the Britpop era.

The album appears in various formats including CD, Deluxe CD, Vinyl and Digital.

Robbie describes the project as follows:
I wanted to write the album I wanted to release right after my exit at Take That – at the heyday of Britpop. It’s raw, guitar-heavy and even more anthemic than usual. I’ve worked with some of my musical heroes. There is a lot of Brit in there – and of course a lot of Pop. I am very proud of this album and look forward to sharing it with my fans.
