Jimmy Giuffre’s trio work with Jim Hall stands by itself as a unique collection of intimate chamber music.Even though Giuffre lived until April 24, 2008 and Jim Hall died on December 10, 2013, their paths would never cross again (at least on recordings) after their collaboration on a Teddy Charles album taped on May 6, 1963.
