The Staple Singers were an American gospel, soul, and R&B group, who are best known for their 1970s hits “Respect Yourself”, “I’ll Take You There” and “If You’re Ready (Come Go with Me)”. In 1975 the Staple Singers recorded the soundtrack for the Sidney Poitier action/comedy/crime film Let’s Do It Again. All tracks on this album were written by the legendary Curtis Mayfield.

Fun fact: Ice Cube sampled “Let’s Do It Again” for the remix of “It Was A Good Day” as did John Legend in his song “Number One”.

Let’s Do It Again is available as a limited numbered edition of 750 copies on white vinyl.
